Designed in Vienna and made responsibly in Thailand, Essentials for Zula creates refined swimwear and everyday pieces in small, limited quantities. Each piece is produced in a family-run factory by a close-knit team with a focus on craftsmanship, considered materials and responsible working conditions aligned with International Labour Organisation standards through the UN.

Fabrics are locally sourced, woven and dyed in Thailand, including GOTS-certified organic cotton, and finished with AZO-free dyes. The brand also uses eco-friendly packaging and aims to reduce waste through just-in-time production and efficient cutting techniques that minimise offcuts.
