Lenny Niemeyer is a contemporary, designer beachwear brand from Brazil, creating sophisticated luxury swimwear and resort wear that women love to wear.
Arriving in Rio de Janeiro in 1979, Lenny Niemeyer hired a seamstress and began creating her own designs after she was unable to find a bikini that combined her chic style with the sensual allure of Rio. She created swimwear for other designer brands until 1995 when she launched her own brand and opened her first Lenny Niemeyer store in Ipanema. Today she owns over 20 stores in Brazil and the brand is sold worldwide.
The product is aimed at sophisticated woman worldwide who embrace the Lenny brand and lifestyle. The love of nature found in the prints reflects Lenny’s previous career as a landscape architect in Sao Paulo. From the cut to the choice of fabrics, the swimwear is designed to flatter and enhance a woman’s beauty.
The swimwear is fabricated in either Lycra or Touch Jersey. The Lycra is supportive with a soft hand, while the Touch Jersey is very lightweight to lie smooth on the skin, and to be beautifully draped and ruched without adding bulk.
All items are produced with impeccable care and craftsmanship, using the finest fabrics. Lenny Niemeyer is made in Brazil in company owned factories.
